Queensland Small Business Security Grants Up to $20,000

Queensland tradies and small businesses can apply for grants of up to $20,000 through the Secure Communities Partnership Program to improve security, deter crime and protect business assets.

What Security Improvements Are Covered?

Eligible projects include:

•  CCTV and alarm systems
•  Security lighting and surveillance
•  Access control and entry security
•  Physical security improvements
•  Security for work vehicles, trailers and other mobile business assets

Grants range from $1,500 to $20,000, with businesses required to contribute 50% of eligible project costs.

Who Can Apply?

Eligible Queensland small businesses must have:

•  19 employees or fewer
•  Annual turnover of $10 million or less
•  An active ABN and GST registration
•  At least one year of trading history
•  A registered Queensland headquarters location

Property owners and lessors may also apply for improvements benefiting eligible small business tenants.

Applications close at 5pm on 23 April 2027, unless funding is exhausted earlier.

Businesses should check eligibility, obtain supplier quotes and prepare the required documentation before applying.
